<p>The Air Quality General Permit to Construct is an expedited application process for a category of sources which are generally very similar in operation, equipment installation, and emissions characteristics. If a source of air pollution qualifies for a General Permit to Construct, the applicant completes a Request for Coverage application form and submits a set permit application fee. Upon verification by the Air Quality Permits Program, a confirmation letter is issued which instructs the applicant to refer to the general permit conditions that are already included in the General Permit to Construct application.</p> <p>Air Quality General Permits to Construct are currently available for the following categories:</p> <ul><li>Emergency Generators</li><li>Vehicle Refinishing (Autobody)</li><li> Small Motor Vehicle Refueling Facilities</li><li>Medium Motor Vehicle Refueling Facilities</li><li>Large Motor Vehicle Refueling Facilities</li><li>Charbroilers and Pit Barbecues</li><li>Small Fuel Burning Equipment</li><li>Medium Fuel Burning Equipment</li><li>Concrete Batch Plant</li><li>Off-Road Gasoline Refueling Facilities</li><li>Sheetfed Lithographic Printing</li><li>Groundwater Air Strippers and Soil Vapor Extraction</li><li>Perchlorethylene (PERC) Dry Cleaning Equipment</li></ul>
